426 days.
I've never gone past a couple of weeks. Tried over 50 times. You really do have to want to quit and I still sometimes think about it but less and less.
I am breathing more, sleep and eat better. Also so far saved about $7000
But I always take it day by day and have no smokers around me. So I did have to remove any smokers and reminders from my life. That will always be a decision going forward.
It's all about choices and what you want or need in my case.
I know if I introduce temptation, it becomes a distraction, so I focus on keeping myself away from temptation's.
This is the best decision I have made and not one negative outcomes

truth
A cigarette is a pinch of tobacco rolled in paper with fire at one end and a fool at the other.

Hello Everyone!
Today is my first day of my quit journey. I am more confident because my reason is greater this time around. I'm in a life and death situation as far as my health and I choose to live. Choosing to live was never an option of mine when I began my addiction. I suffered from severe anxiety and depression among many other things. Nicotine , marijuana, caffeine, alcohol, sex, tranquilizers, sugar, food has been my escapism toolkit. Since devoting my life to being better in my faith, I have done an amazing job in giving up all but one addiction; nicotine. I figured this would be the hardest to really kick back then. My recent quit was for 6months. I re-entered the world where you will be around smokers especially smokers you used to smoke with and because it's your quit journey; they are not obligated to respect your quit. I relapsed. It's quite difficult this time around because my roommate is an avid smoker in the house. I just gave up believing it would be possible with the constant...

mind games
I so want to buy a pack of cigarettes. The kicker is….I'm not even sure why. The cravings aren't so bad anymore. It just is something I used to do. Almost a week since I had my setback / maybe it is too soon but my mind hasn't reprogrammed yet. Ugh. I'm just gonna keep on keeping on

gathering courage to quit again
Planning to take a leave from work read Allen Carr's
Throw away all my cigarettes
Be in this group
My motivation- 1.Suffering from covid.. and was smoking and sadly I'm not getting any better…thanks to smoking
It's been 2 weeks and more
2. I don't feel that proud or happy to be a smoker
3. Being unable to quit has made me more depressed than craving for a cigarette
4. I'm scared of worse days…I don't want to wait until it's too late
5. I know life doesn't change much as a non smoker….it remains the same or maybe gets better health wise but being a smoker I don't get anything except guilt and shame!
6. I want to be healthy or healthier but definitely not a sick smoker!! (Sorry but I am currently disgusted by smokers and even myself)
It feels like a loss, like I am some kind of a loser that I couldn't stop my last quit…..
Can anyone help me with my quit?
This time it's going to be cold turkey
But I don't know how to choose a date ….
I want my last pack of cigarettes that I...
