I like to chew sugar free gum to get some sweetness when I'm craving, which helps a ton. if I chew some about 30 minutes before a meal, I find I'm not as hungry and I eat less during the meal, while not craving sweets

The gum trick does work. If you really struggle reach for a jello or a popsicle. I have a huge sweet tooth but these tricks do help. Also when you get that craving try water first.

You need to workout and begin to lose the fat that you no longer want. Eating sugar alone doesn't make you fat.. it makes you gain weight yes but it's also how you treat your body on a daily basis. Stay active, drink lots of water.
You can still be in shape and eat sugar, you just need to have more self control or find snacks that are healthier. -

Keto was REALLY hard for a week. Then, my body didn't crave sugar. In fact, I went to dinner with friends and ordered a Coke out of habit. The first sip was disgusting. My tastebuds had shifted to healthier flavors. Keto flu is worth getting to the other side and finally losing weight. No pain; no gain. Good luck.

Lots of good advice here but when I catch myself craving, I eat a green apple. And I carry carrot or celery with me so I don't allow myself to get caught too hungry! The apple cider vinegar works too but I can not wait for my grandsons birthday party so I can eat some cake!
